Community Interest 1978 - 2007

Community Interest a 1978 Thoroughbred Stallion - by Forli out of Friendly Circle (by Round Table) was humanely euthanized on June 27, 2007 due to the infirmities of old age. "Hercules" as he was fondly called by his friends at Derby Lyn Farms was cared for and attended to till the end by the kind and generous horsewoman Katie Clark.  We would like to thank Katie for seeing this proud and noble creature safely to the Bridge. I hope to see the Copper Coated stallion someday on the other side...

At left and below are photos of some of Community Interest's offspring

At left is Nicky's Interest, a TB gelding by Community Interest. Nicky earned over $100,000 on the track before he went on to a successful career doing hunters and eventing.


At left is Lady Jocelyn , a TB filly by Community Interest. Lady Jocelyn is dual registered with both The Jockey Club and the American Paint Horse Association. In addition to her 4 high white socks Jocelyn has a large wide blaze white spots on her lower lip and a white belly spot. Jocelyn was sold as an Event prospect.


At left is Friendly Vixen, a TB filly by Community Interest. Vixen was a 1st place Foal at the NJ Thoroughbred Breeders' show and 3rd place Yearling. She was sold as dressage prospect.
